Credit Union Teller (MSR I/II) - West Point Branch

The Member Service Representative (MSR) is responsible for providing quality customer service to members while following Baylands Family CU policies and procedures. The MSR plays a key role in daily branch operations, through building relationships with members, while focusing on service, security, and compliance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner.
• Represent the credit union to members in a courteous and professional manner and provide prompt, efficient, and accurate service in the processing of transactions providing constantly great service.
• Removes deposits from automated teller machines and night depository and counts and balances cash received.
• Accepts loan payments and complete funding disbursement of loans.
• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines check endorsements following established credit union policies and procedures.
• Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints, whether in person, by e-mail or by phone resolving issues, and/or directing them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance or make corrections and refunds on accounts if necessary.
• Promote & cross sell credit union products and services based on member needs as determined from member interview/account review.

Maintain current knowledge of all credit union's services and policies.

Required Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent
• Minimum one-year financial institution experience preferred
• Acceptable credit rating and criminal background check Anyone who has experience with banking, cash handling or customer service would translate well to this roll.
