As a relationship banker, you will play a key role in the success of our branches by building and maintaining meaningful relationships with your customers and by using your financial knowledge to help provide thoughtful solutions to meet customers needs. Our relationship bankers assist new and existing customers with the opening of new deposit accounts, processing a variety of financial transactions (check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc.) and accurately balancing these transactions while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude and providing exceptional customer service. No previous banking experience is required, as training will be provided. If you have a willingness to learn the art of banking and have the ability to deliver exceptional customer service, build relationships with current and prospective customers and respond to simple and complex customer inquiries or service requests in a professional manner, we want to talk to you. What you can expect to do: Provide trustworthy, responsive and courteous service Build lasting relationships with customers, discover their financial needs and tailor products and services to recommend Operate a teller drawer serving customers in the lobby and/or drive up Open accounts, perform account maintenance and assist customers with digital products Recognize potential fraud and other risks Provide outstanding customer service and display a positive attitude Other related duties and special projects as assigned What you'll need to succeed: Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing priorities, situations and technology Be a highly motivated team player with the ability to multitask Ability to identify problems and provide solutions Strong background in customer service Ability to understand bank products, process transactions and solve customer service issues Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and maintain professionalism and courtesy Project a professional image through dress, presentation and positive attitude Why work for Farmers & Merchants Union Bank?
