Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President of Finance to lead our financial operations with energy and precision. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and driving fiscal growth. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to financial management, strategic planning, and risk mitigation, inspiring our team toward sustainable success. Duties Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Oversee corporate accounting functions, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation. Manage budgeting processes, financial projection models, and forecasting to support long-term planning. Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and industry-specific regulations. Direct treasury management activities such as cash flow analysis, investment oversight, and risk management initiatives. Supervise the finance team, fostering professional growth and maintaining high standards of accuracy in financial report writing and interpretation. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes impacting nonprofit or governmental accounting practices to adapt policies accordingly. Experience Extensive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, and industry-specific accounting systems. Proven leadership in finance directorship roles within nonprofit or governmental sectors. Demonstrated success in strategic management, risk analysis, cost control, and fiscal management. Proficiency in Excel data analysis, financial software applications, and developing complex financial models. Excellent understanding of industry knowledge regarding financial regulations, revenue management, and investment strategies. Ability to lead a diverse finance team while managing multiple priorities with precision and clarity. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
