Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to fulfill the role of Controller at a dynamic manufacturing facility in Pocahontas, AR. This full-time position requires a strategic and detail-oriented leader to oversee all financial and human resources operations, reporting directly to the CFO. The successful candidate will contribute significantly to both strategic planning and the efficient management of daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage comprehensive accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting. Ensure adherence to GAAP standards, oversee tax obligations, and maintain robust internal controls. Lead initiatives such as monthly closings, audits, forecasting, job costing, and margin analysis. Oversee HR responsibilities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations. Implement and enforce company policies, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safety and workers' compensation programs.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience in a Controller or senior accounting position. Thorough knowledge of GAAP, budgeting processes, and financial systems. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Striven. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is preferred. Experience managing HR functions, including recruitment and compliance. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Successful completion of a drug and alcohol screening.
