Job Description

We Are Looking for a Producer — Not a Spectator Diamond Chevrolet GMC Banning is looking for an experienced Automotive Finance Director / Sales Closing Manager who can help lead the entire deal process from the first internet lead through the close, F&I, contracting, and funding. This is not a position for someone who wants to sit behind a desk and wait for salespeople to bring them deals. We want a leader who will get involved, close customers, work the CRM, coach the sales team, oversee Internet/BDC activity, desk deals, structure financing, and drive accountability throughout the sales process. The right person understands that great automotive leadership happens on the showroom floor, in the CRM, at the desk, in F&I, and with the customer. What You Will Own You will work directly with dealership leadership to improve sales, closing ratios, finance performance, CRM execution, and overall customer experience.
Responsibilities include:
Close deals. Salespeople should not be expected to close every difficult customer themselves. Management needs to get involved. Desk and structure new and used vehicle deals. Lead and oversee the dealership's Finance Department. Work directly with customers when necessary to overcome objections and close business. Oversee Internet and BDC performance , including lead response, follow-up, appointments, show rates, and closing ratios. Live in ELEADS CRM and make sure opportunities are being worked correctly. Train and coach salespeople on phone skills, follow-up, product knowledge, closing, and proper CRM usage. Conduct lot walks and maintain strong awareness of new and used inventory. Work with management on vAuto , inventory aging, merchandising, pricing, and inventory strategy. Monitor salesperson and BDC activity and hold the team accountable for daily performance. Structure financing and submit deals through RouteOne and CUDL . Maintain strong lender relationships and maximize approvals while protecting the customer and dealership. Present F&I products professionally and compliantly. Monitor F&I production, product penetration, finance penetration, chargebacks, contracts in transit, and funding. Ensure deals are complete, accurate, compliant, and funded quickly. Maintain complete digital deal jackets in CDK . Review performance reports and identify missed opportunities. Participate in management meetings, sales meetings, and training. Work closely with the GM, CFO, ownership, and other dealership leadership.
