The Impact You'll Make As our Corporate Controller, you will be the financial steward of our organization, ensuring that every dollar is accounted for, every report is accurate, and every process meets the rigorous standards of government contracting. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to win new contracts, maintain compliance with FAR and DCAA requirements, and provide our teams with the financial clarity they need to deliver exceptional results for our clients. What You'll Do Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and government contracting regulations. Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and cost accounting. Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) requirements. Manage indirect rate calculations, incurred cost submissions, and contract cost reporting. Partner with program managers to provide financial insights that drive contract performance and profitability. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure audit readiness. Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Liaise with CPA for tax preparation and books of its other 2 entities. Assist management in its future plans and proposals Prepare contractors monthly billing estimates and annual reports Other duties as assigned and prepared to work hands-on What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred). 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a government contracting environment. Deep knowledge of FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance requirements. Advanced excel skills Proven experience with QuickBooks Online or similar ERP systems. Budget and forecast management Property management experience is a plus Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
