Job Description

Controller About the Opportunity We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced and mission-driven Controller to lead its accounting and finance operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting leader who enjoys making an impact while working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
Salary Range:
$110,000-$160,000

Controller Role:
Oversee all accounting and financial operations for the organization Lead the month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, financial policies, and regulatory requirements Oversee internal controls and support audit preparation and coordination Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making Monitor organizational financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities Lead, mentor, and develop accounting and finance team members Collaborate with department leaders to support budgeting and financial planning initiatives Preferred Qualifications for the
Controller:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA preferred Previous Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting leadership experience Nonprofit accounting experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processes Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills #LI-LM1 #
