full-time A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations. This position will oversee financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, inventory accounting, cost accounting, internal controls, and strategic financial planning while partnering closely with executive leadership to support continued growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Oversee all accounting functions, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Fixed Assets, and Inventory Accounting. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and long-range financial planning. Monitor product costing, inventory valuation, margin analysis, and cost accounting activities. Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements. Partner with Operations and Sales leadership to identify opportunities for increased profitability and process improvement. Develop, mentor, and lead accounting staff while strengthening internal controls and financial procedures. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and finance functions. ERP Optimization & Process Improvement Take ownership of a recently implemented SAP Business One (SAP B1) ERP system, focusing on stabilization, workflow optimization, and post-implementation enhancements. Identify system configuration issues, audit financial data flows, and implement process improvements across the organization. Partner with external consultants to improve AP and AR automation workflows, reduce manual processes, and enhance data accuracy. Reconcile and clean up financial data resulting from post-go-live processing issues. Collaborate with Accounting, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure cross-functional data integrity and reporting accuracy. Develop scalable processes and controls to support future growth. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 7-10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including leadership responsibilities. Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred. Strong experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and financial reporting. SAP Business One (SAP B1) experience highly preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial analysis. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience working within ERP systems and leading process improvement initiatives. Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally across operations, sales, and executive leadership.
