Our client is seeking an Assistant Controller to work directly with the Director of Accounting and executive leadership. This is a high-impact role with a clear path to Controller. What You'll Do:
Lead month-end and year-end close Oversee financial reporting and GAAP compliance Manage revenue recognition (POC) and WIP schedules Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Drive process improvements and internal controls Partner cross-functionally with operations and project teams
What You Bring:
5-7+ years of accounting experience Public accounting (Manager+) or industry experience CPA preferred Strong GAAP and financial reporting knowledge Experience with job costing / project accounting is a plus
