About the Opportunity Lead the full-cycle accounting and financial reporting functions across multiple operating entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation and analysis of financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Oversee all core accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger management, and cash management. Direct project accounting activities, including job costing, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, revenue recognition, and project profitability analysis. Partner with project managers and operational leaders to provide financial insights, improve project reporting, and support informed decision-making. Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, including maintaining accurate cash flow projections and financial performance models. Prepare financial analysis, key performance metrics, and reporting packages for senior leadership to support strategic and operational decisions. Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. Strengthen financial controls, policies, and procedures while driving continuous improvement across accounting and finance operations. Optimize data flow and reporting between accounting and project management systems to improve visibility into project and company performance. Collaborate with external accounting partners, advisors, and service providers to support regulatory compliance and reporting requirements. Help build and scale the organization's future-state finance function, serving as a trusted business partner to executive leadership during a period of growth. About You CPA designated. 6+ years of progressive accounting experience. Management level experience. Strong job costing and project accounting background (Construction industry experience is highly preferred) Well-rounded skillset (Accounting/Reporting, FP&A, Strategy).
