Job Summary and Responsibilities Must live in Central California area. As our System Manager, Workforce Benchmarking & Productivity, you will play a pivotal role in workforce labor productivity for CommonSpirit Health, supporting key initiatives in benchmarking and productivity. Reporting to the System Director of Performance Improvement, your focus will be on contributing to the standardization of labor management based on National guidelines, ensuring robust data integrity, and optimizing the use of specialized productivity and benchmarking solutions across our facilities. Every day you will collaborate closely with local, System, and national leadership teams to drive these critical objectives. A significant part of your role involves working directly with leaders in designated facilities, leveraging your strong finance experience to deepen their operational knowledge and ensure consistent adherence to labor productivity budget and financial targets. You will also actively cultivate strong people skills to enhance working relationships with leadership across the organization, guiding them through financial analytics and reaching labor productivity solutions. To be successful in this role, you will: possess robust finance experience and a deep understanding of labor productivity and benchmarking solutions, with a proven ability to manage and analyze large data sets for financial accuracy. Your capacity to build strong, collaborative relationships with diverse leadership, effectively working with their budgets, and your expert people skills for driving adherence and improvement are crucial. This position demands a strategic and detailed mindset committed to driving operational excellence and financial stewardship through precise labor productivity management within a large healthcare system. In support of the System Director of Performance Improvement, partners with the Hospital, Market, or System VPs of Finance to develop and implement a productivity strategy that supports the Operational Strategy to produce measurable financial improvements. Participates at assigned Hospital, Market, or System meetings, to provide information on productivity metrics, areas of opportunity, and most importantly proposed solutions to identified challenges. Lead process improvement projects related to improving productivity within the System by working with System, market, and hospital leadership. Plan, organize, and lead initiatives required for the safe, efficient, and effective operation of departments and programs; including, active participation with other entities, hospitals, leadership, and staff. Develop performance standards, metrics, and operation procedures within the department that support the System strategy, policies, and procedures. Create, teach, and implement processes, tools, educational materials that enable department leaders and teams to understand and interpret data and use the tools to improve productivity. Job Requirements Required Bachelors Other in Finance, Industrial Engineering or related field 3 years of experience in analytics, reporting and communication of data output to leaders Experience with complex data analysis methods, budgeting and information systems Preferred Experience working in healthcare hospital industry Strong finance and project management experience Masters Other in Business, Management Engineer, Finance, Industrial Engineer or related field.
