Full-Time About the Company Our client is an established, rapidly growing premium consumer products company known for its high-quality products, strong brand reputation, and collaborative culture. They are seeking a hands-on Controller / Senior Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and serve as a key business partner to executive leadership. Position Overview This individual will lead the full accounting function, oversee payroll administration, maintain financial reporting, and support budgeting and forecasting efforts. The ideal candidate has strong NetSuite experience, enjoys working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment, and is comfortable partnering with leaders across Finance, Operations, Merchandising, and Planning. Key Responsibilities Manage the full accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Payroll. Administer and optimize NetSuite for financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting operations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Process bi-weekly payroll and oversee benefits administration using Gusto or a comparable payroll platform. Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis. Monitor operating expenses, inventory costs, gross margins, and overall profitability. Coordinate with external CPA partners for tax filings, audits, and year-end financial reporting. Strengthen internal controls, automate accounting processes, and improve reporting efficiencies. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to provide financial insights that support inventory, purchasing, and operational decision-making. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Advanced NetSuite experience required. Experience administering payroll and employee benefits using Gusto or a similar payroll platform. Strong understanding of payroll compliance, deductions, and financial reporting. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Experience within consumer products, retail, wholesale, apparel, luxury goods, or a related industry is highly preferred. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, on-site environment. Compensation Competitive base salary ranging from $90,000-$120,000, depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package.
