Job Description:

Controller (Ventura, CA) A growing, mid-sized company is seeking a hands-on Controller to oversee full-cycle accounting operations in a small, collaborative office environment. This is a 100% onsite role with an immediate need.

Compensation:

$100K-$120

K Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00

Direct Hire Key Responsibilities:

Oversee full-cycle accounting including AP, AR, and general ledger Lead month-end and year-end close processes Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage cash flow, budgeting support, and financial analysis Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls Partner with leadership to provide financial insights Support and manage accounting operations in a small team setting

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership exposure Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing full accounting cycles, AP/AR Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, complex formulas) Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar
