Production Worker

Production Worker Long term, full time position with growth opportunities are available in Ventura area to assist in the production team. The position of Production Worker is responsible for providing manufacturing support for a growing nutraceuticals company. The Production Worker will operate machinery, perform basic general labor duties as cleaning, maintenance, and moving materials. There will be extensive on-the-job training with the chance to learn many skills. The production area is a clean area, so it will be necessary to wear proper protective equipment including cover-alls, hair-nets, and shoe covers. Detailed Job Description Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate within company's policies, procedures, government regulations and fully participate in Novotech Nutraceuticals Safety programs. Read and follow batch production record instructions. Maintain efficient production processes by following cGMP SOP and organization standards. Maintain production facility and grounds for a safe and clean working environment including production rooms, production equipment and utensils, etc. Comply with procedures, rules, and regulations. Complete cleaning and maintenance logs and production forms by entering required information. Willing and able to complete any special or related projects as assigned. Engage in teamwork and able to act and think independently.

Attention to detail in production, focusing on each piece of the product you are working on Must be critical thinking, communicative, active listening Understand written instructions Able to learn and follow required procedures Prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently Operate, maintain, and clean machines The job skills involved are teamwork, dependability, coordination, detail oriented, time management, reporting, documentation, equipment maintenance, cleaning and data entry. Knowledge in operating heavy machinery is a plus.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent Experience in manufacturing or a GMP regulated environment is desirable Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus

Certificate Requirement:

Training will be provided to obtain required GMP and HACCP Certificates.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Must be able to climb stairs or ladders, bend/stoop, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 55 lbs. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time. Must pose a good attitude and manner. Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment (Training will be provided).
