CONTROLLER

A well-established, financially strong, entrepreneurial organization is seeking a Hands-on Controller to work with its friendly, collaborative, and talented team. The company offers career growth while maintaining a great work/life balance environment! Ideal candidate will be a CPA with some public accounting experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER
Oversee the activities of the accounting department to ensure the accurate and timely dissemination of financial statements and management reports. Oversee disbursement activities, including wire transfers. Oversee compliance with loan agreements. Oversee compliance with the financial reporting. Prepare annual budgets. Work with external income tax professionals. Establish and maintain systems and internal controls. Respond to the CEO and CFO as requested on special projects. Provide leadership to and ongoing development of staff. Manage employee benefits and payroll relationships. Manage all aspects of the QuickBooks accounting system. Accurately account for the investments and intercompany transactions. Communicate with others courteously and professionally. Adhere to all regulations, policies, and procedures. Other duties as assigned.
