Our client is seeking a hands-on Controller to lead and strengthen the accounting function across a multi-entity organization. What You'll Be Doing Accounting & Financial Leadership Lead accounting operations across multiple affiliated entities, including consolidated financial reporting. Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. Ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and financial statements. Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and eliminations. Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and standards. Serve as the primary accounting contact for external tax and advisory partners. Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Develop cash flow forecasts and reporting models. Deliver budget-to-actual reporting and variance analysis. Create management reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators. Support strategic decision-making through timely and accurate financial information. Systems & Process Improvement Evaluate and improve current accounting systems and workflows. Strengthen internal controls and financial accountability. Drive continuous improvement across the accounting function. Hands-On Accounting Leadership Act as the organization's senior accounting leader while remaining actively involved in daily accounting operations. Bring a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through to the accounting function. Create the financial infrastructure needed to support future growth.Qualifications:
What You'll Need for This Position Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Significant progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities. Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of GAAP. Experience managing accounting activities across multiple entities. Demonstrated experience with consolidated financial reporting. Experience establishing and maintaining internal controls. Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management experience. Proven ability to improve accounting systems, processes, and workflows. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate financial information effectively with executive leadership. Preferred Qualifications CPA license or public accounting background. Experience with commission accounting or commission-based businesses. Success in This Role Will Look Like Taking ownership of the accounting function and delivering accurate, reliable financial information. Creating structure and accountability where processes need improvement. Building stronger reporting, controls, and systems that leadership can trust.
