Job Description

Express Kitchens is seeking a highly accomplished and hands-on Director of Finance to take ownership of the company's financial strategy, controls, profitability, and financial operations. This is a high-impact senior leadership position requiring strong technical finance expertise, business judgment, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Own company-wide financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting Lead P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and working-capital management Oversee accounting, AP/AR, inventory valuation, cost accounting, and reconciliations Analyze product/customer profitability, GP margins, pricing, discounts, and operating costs Establish and enforce strong internal controls, policies, and financial procedures Lead audit, tax, banking, compliance, and risk-management activities Partner directly with executive leadership on strategic and investment decisions Lead and develop the finance/accounting team Requirements CPA or CFA certification required 5+ years of progressive finance experience , including senior leadership responsibility Strong command of accounting, FP&A, cash-flow management, and financial controls Advanced knowledge of inventory and cost accounting Strong ERP, financial systems, Excel, and financial modeling experience Proven experience improving profitability and financial processes Exceptional analytical, leadership, and problem-solving capabilities Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, or home improvement strongly preferred
