Controller

A great UHY client is seeking a hands-on Controller . This newly created role will oversee full-cycle accounting, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and HR responsibilities, including payroll and benefits. This is a permanent, onsite position with flexibility to support work-life balance. The Controller role is an onsite, client direct hire position. The position reports to the co-Presidents and will have high visibility within the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong controllership experience in a small to mid-sized business environment who is comfortable wearing multiple hats and taking ownership of processes. Controller Responsibilities Lead full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and HR functions Build and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and KPI reporting processes Implement process improvements and clean up existing accounting records Serve as the main point of contact for financial operations within the company Controller Requirements Proven controllership experience in small to mid-sized business environments QuickBooks experience preferred Knowledge of payroll, benefits, and HR processes Strong Excel and financial analysis skills Hands-on, adaptable, and collaborative mindset UHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit, and tax teams.
