Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Assistant Controller to support accounting, financial reporting, and cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. This role reports to the Controller and offers growth into broader financial leadership. Key Responsibilities Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities. Prepare financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports. Analyze budgets, forecasts, costs, and financial performance. Manage inventory accounting, standard costing, and manufacturing variances. Support budgeting, cash flow, audits, and internal controls. Partner with Operations and other departments to improve performance. Improve accounting processes using ERP systems, Power BI, automation, and AI tools. Support and develop the accounting team. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting. Manufacturing and cost accounting experience preferred. Experience with inventory, standard costing, and ERP systems. Strong Excel skills; Power BI and automation experience are a plus. CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required.
