full-time Controller-Must have construction experience Coral Springs, FL $125K-$140K DOE PTO/Benefits 401K 100% in office We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations for a growing civil construction company. The ideal candidate will bring extensive construction accounting expertise, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record managing financial reporting, WIP schedules, cash flow forecasting, job costing, and ERP implementations. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements, WIP schedules, cash flow reports, budgets, and forecasts. Manage AIA billing, retainage, collections, and job costing. Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. Lead accounting staff and support company growth initiatives. Implement and optimize construction accounting software and ERP systems. Partner with leadership on financial planning and project profitability. Utilize Sage 100 Contractor for accounting, reporting, job costing, and financial management.
Qualifications:
Strong construction accounting experience. Expertise in WIP reporting, job costing, and AIA billing. Experience with Sage 100 Contractor . Proven success with ERP implementations and process improvements. Strong leadership and financial management skills. Ability to support project managers and executive leadership with accurate financial reporting.
