We operate multiple production and distribution sites and are committed to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering quality products to our customers.
Position Summary:
We're seeking an experienced Controller to lead financial operations at our corporate headquarters. This hands-on role is responsible for managing month-end and year-end close, treasury, AR/AP, inventory and cost accounting, financial reporting, and key metric delivery. The Controller will directly and indirectly manage a finance team of approximately nine and partner closely with operations and executive leadership. The Controller will also serve as the primary contact for external auditors. Key Responsibilities Lead and own monthly and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements. Oversee treasury functions including cash forecasting, working capital management, and banking relationships. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, policies, and team performance. Supervise inventory and cost accounting for multiple manufacturing and distribution sites; ensure proper valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis. Prepare and deliver regular financial and operational reports and KPIs to executive leadership. Act as the main point of contact for external auditors, coordinating audits and ensuring timely delivery of requested documentation. Drive process improvements, internal controls, and best practices where applicable. Coach, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 9 finance team members (direct and indirect reports). Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives across the business. Special projects and other tasks as needed. Qualifications (Required / Preferred) 5+ years' experience as a Controller or in a comparable role with similar responsibilities. CPA or CMA preferred. Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and inventory management. Experience with Syteline/CSI ERP preferred (or comparable manufacturing ERP). Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance staff. Strong Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with cross?functional teams. Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to process and control.
