full-time Corporate Controller | Real Estate Investment & Asset Management | West Palm Beach, FL We're partnering with a privately held real estate investment and asset management company with a growing nationwide affordable housing portfolio. The company is focused on acquiring, preserving, and repositioning affordable housing communities and has a strong emphasis on impact, operational excellence, and doing right by its residents and communities. They're looking for a Corporate Controller to serve as a hands-on financial partner to executive leadership and take ownership of the corporate accounting function.

Responsibilities:

Lead the full monthly and annual close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, GL review, consolidation, and timely financial reporting Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures Partner directly with executive leadership to provide financial analysis, reporting, and insight that supports business decisions Coordinate annual audits, tax preparation, regulatory filings, and relationships with external auditors and tax advisors Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and broader financial planning Help build and improve accounting processes as the company's portfolio and entity count continue to grow Lead through influence today, with the opportunity to build and manage an accounting team as the organization scales

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Active CPA required 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience Background in real estate, property management, development, construction, or a related industry Experience managing accounting and consolidation in a complex, multi-entity environment Strong GAAP, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and audit knowledge Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar systems is a plus Strong communication and relationship-building skills Someone who can operate independently, manage shifting priorities, and work effectively across departments $160K - $180K base salary dependent on experience If you are interested, please apply directly and email your resume to Cassidy Sullivan at csullivan@daleyaa.com!
