What You'll Do:

Oversee general accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, and tax-related functions Lead month-end and year-end close and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage budgeting, forecasting, and budget-to-actual analysis Coordinate annual audits and work directly with external auditors Develop and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls Partner with project managers and operations on construction-related financial matters Provide financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Lead and hold accounting team members accountable for deadlines and deliverables Partner closely with the CFO and senior leadership

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience Construction or closely related project-based accounting experience Strong Controller-level knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, audits, and internal controls Experience within a sizable organization, ideally $75M+ in revenue Previous accounting team leadership experience Demonstrated career stability and progressive responsibility Strong Excel skills Construction accounting software experience preferred CPA or CMA preferred
