We operate the area's 24-hour hotline and emergency shelter; non-residential programs, such as support groups, economic empowerment and legal advocacy; Child Protective Investigative Team support; community and corporate training; and the CASA Peacemakers anti-bullying and healthy relationship school curriculum.

Executive Vice President of Administrative Services Major & Essential Functions:
Responsible for the overall financial management, integrity, and stewardship of CASA and The CASA Foundation financial resources. Provides strategic financial leadership, oversees the finance team, manages relationships with external accounting and financial service providers, and ensures compliance with all financial, regulatory, and contractual requirements.FLSA STATUS
Exempt, Full-Time Position Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee all financial operations.- Supervise finance staff and oversee outsourced accounting firms, auditors, tax professionals, investment advisors, and other providers.
- Serve as strategic financial advisor to the CEO and leadership team.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, FASB, grant, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
- Oversee accounting, payroll, AP, AR, allocations, reconciliations, and financial close processes.
- Maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Prepare and distribute timely financial statements and analyses.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Oversee grants, contracts, and funding compliance.
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and financial monitoring.
- Manage banking, investments, and financial institution relationships.
- Serve as liaison to the Finance Committee, Board of Directors, and Foundation Trustees.
- Participate as a member of the senior leadership team.
- Recommend strategies to strengthen financial performance and sustainability.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Executive Vice President of Administrative Services.
General Duties:
- Attend and participate in CASA staff meetings, required trainings, and special projects designated by supervisor.
- Attend and participate in ongoing training opportunities.
- Assist with training and supervision of volunteers/interns.
- Complete special projects and presentations as requested.
- Keep supervisor informed of successes, barriers, concerns, and performance issues.
- Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Five years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience.
- CPA preferred.
- Experience managing staff and external financial service providers.
- Strong nonprofit accounting, budgeting, reporting, and compliance knowledge.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation, including occasionally lifting and/or assisting in lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs, and transporting materials as needed.
- Training and experience in domestic violence preferred.
- Ability to function independently and work cooperatively as a member of a team.
- Demonstrate the willingness to drive agency vehicles.
- Possess a valid Florida State Driver's License and auto insurance to be verified annually.
- Successfully complete a pre-employment background check in accordance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
- All positions are considered essential and as such may be required to be available to remain onsite and/or required to assist during emergencies and other critical times.
