Job Description:
The Role This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys building, improving processes, and operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will serve as the CFO's right hand on all accounting matters and help establish the foundation for a scalable finance function. What You'll Be Doing Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, close process, and financial reporting Build and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls from the ground up Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, reporting, and operational decision-making Assist in developing scalable processes to support a high-growth, membership-based business model Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management initiatives Evaluate and optimize ERP and financial systems (current platform in place) Play a key role in building out the accounting/finance team over time What They're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field Experience in membership-based, subscription, or recurring revenue environment s is a plus CPA preferred 8-12+ years of relevant experience in accounting/finance Mix of public accounting and/or corporate experience Prior experiencein a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity Strong process improvement and systems experience ERP exposure required; Great Plains a plus
