Job Description
We are hiring a Vice President F&A to own the full finance, accounting, treasury, insurance, and payroll / benefits portfolio of a multi-entity operating company. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a true working role: you will set financial strategy and present to our Board and lenders, and you will also sit close enough to the details to keep the ERP, the POS integration, and the close on track. If you want a large finance department to delegate to, this is not the seat. If you want ownership of every lever in the business, it is. What You'll Own Reporting and analysis. Monthly and quarterly financial packages, Board materials, MD&A, site-level and consolidated results, variance analysis, and KPI reporting. Financial modeling. Site, corporate, G&A, and liquidity models supporting pricing, membership, promotion, new-site, and strategic decisions. Accounting operations. Management of our outsourced accounting firm, close quality and timing, chart of accounts and class structure, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, sales and use tax compliance, and fleet / house account billing and collections. Treasury and lender relationships. Weekly cash position, liquidity management, banking and card program administration, payments, and quarterly covenant testing and compliance reporting. Audit and tax. The annual financial statement audit and partnership tax return process with our outside CPA firm, including K-1 delivery and tax basis matters. Construction and project accounting. Budget-to-actual tracking by cost code, CIP reconciliation, contractor pay applications and draws, builders risk insurance, and pre-opening cost capitalization for new sites. Payroll, benefits, and risk. Payroll review and approval, benefits and open enrollment administration, ACA and EEO-1 compliance, workers' compensation, and the full commercial insurance program. Systems. Ownership of the ERP and finance vendor relationships, and leadership of an active data integration and dashboard initiative connecting POS, ERP, and payroll. What We're Looking For 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership, including time as a CFO, Controller, or VP Finance in a lean structure Multi-entity, multi-site operating company experience — retail, restaurant, hospitality, fitness, car wash, or comparable high-volume consumer services Strong technical accounting foundation; CPA preferred Demonstrated ERP ownership (Sage Intacct or comparable) and advanced Excel modeling skills Experience with bank lender reporting and covenant compliance Willingness to own payroll, benefits, and insurance administration alongside the finance function Based in or relocating to Palm Beach County; this role is on-site Base salary of $155,000 plus potential 20% bonus
