$180K•$200K base + 20% bonus•some flexibility for the right candidate

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Director / North America Controller to lead accounting operations across a high-growth software organization. This role oversees Revenue Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Commissions. This is a hands-on leadership role managing ~15 team members (4 direct reports), requiring strong technical accounting expertise and operational execution. The role partners closely with executive leadership across Finance, Tax, and M&A and owns the close process, ASC 606, and scaling accounting operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee Revenue Accounting, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, and Commissions Manage team of ~15 with 4 direct reports Lead monthly and quarterly close process Review and approve financial reporting deliverables Maintain ASC 606 revenue recognition processes Partner with executive leadership across Finance, Tax, and M&A Support M&A and purchase accounting initiatives Lead external audit coordination Perform ad hoc financial analysis

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

CPA required 10+ years of accounting experience Public accounting background (Big 4 or similar) Software / SaaS industry experience Strong US GAAP and ASC 606 knowledge

M&A / Purchase Accounting experience Controller or Director-level experience Public + industry mix Leadership and team management experience
