The Opportunity The Director of FP&A will be a key strategic partner to the finance leadership team, the executive team, and business leaders across Catalis's verticals. This person will own the company's long-term financial model, expand the infrastructure to translate bookings into recognized ARR, and serve as a trusted advisor to vertical leaders and Sales Operations. This is a highly visible role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-business-unit, PE-backed environment and wants to shape how the company plans, forecasts, and measures growth. What You Will Do Long-Term Financial Modeling Build, own, and continuously refine Catalis's 3-5 year long-term financial model, integrating revenue drivers, cost structure, headcount, capital plans, and M&A scenarios Translate strategic and operating plans into financial projections that support board, investor, and lender reporting Stress-test the model against alternative growth, pricing, and M&A scenarios to inform executive decision-making Bookings-to-ARR Waterfall Build and maintain the bookings-to-ARR Waterfall model, tracking how new bookings convert into recognized ARR over time based on implementation timelines, go-live schedules, ramp assumptions, churn, and upsell/cross-sell activity Partner with Revenue Operations, Sales Ops, and Implementation/Delivery teams to keep underlying assumptions (sales cycle length, time-to-go-live, retention) current and defensible Use the waterfall to reconcile bookings targets with ARR and revenue targets, and to explain variances between the two to leadership Business Partnership Build strong working relationships with leaders across Catalis's verticals (Payments, Tax & CAMA, Courts & Land Records, Public Works, Citizen Engagement, etc.), acting as their embedded finance partner Support vertical leaders with P&L management, forecasting, budget-to-actual analysis, and business case development for new investments Partner closely with Sales Operations on pipeline reviews, quota setting, bookings forecasting, sales compensation design, and rep productivity analysis Planning, Reporting & Analysis Lead the annual budgeting process and recurring reforecast cycles across the consolidated business and individual verticals Own monthly and quarterly reporting packages, board materials, and variance analysis (bookings, ARR, revenue, margin, and cash) Develop and maintain SaaS/recurring revenue KPIs (NRR, GRR, CAC, LTV, rule-of-40, magic number, etc.) and ensure consistent definitions across the business M&A & Special Projects Support financial diligence and integration modeling for acquisitions, consistent with Catalis's active M&A strategy Lead or contribute to ad hoc strategic and financial analyses for the executive team and investorsRequirements:
