  • Stone Mountain, GA
  • (2-3 Month Contract) We are currently seeking a Director of Finance to join our Accounting and Finance team.
In this position, you will help drive overall business and customer profitability analysis, forecasting cycles, and contribute to the preparation of weekly and monthly financial analyses of revenue, expenses, ROI, resource allocation and presentations for the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership. You will actively collaborate with account teams, development and production to identify and share short and long-term opportunities for improved financial performance of customer accounts. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, good strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, exceptional numerical proficiency, and strong leadership skills. The noteworthy Finance Director should harmonize financial operations, develop effective financial strategies, guide efforts towards financial stability, monitor all financial activities, promote revenue growth, ensure compliance with accounting regulations, and maintain good relationships with investors.
Responsibilities:
Support all aspects of accounting management for the Consumer Business (billing, reconciliations, reporting etc.) Assist in the preparation of financial statements and analysis Assist in the formulation of internal policies and process to ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial data Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecasts Review departmental budgets Develop reports, financial models and analyses to support management and strategic initiatives Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Report and manage, from a financial perspective, the profitability of each customer Analyze financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes Other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus 7+ years of experience, proven experience in a similar position Strong leadership and communication skills required Board Room presence Experience in multi-unit and/or agencies Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on capacity Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial close, reporting etc.) Understanding of data analysis and forecasting Proficiency in accounting software, Sage experience desirable Project management skills a plus System implementation experience desirable Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is a plus Click here to apply online Share This Position Details Location Stone Mountain GA Date Posted 9/17/2019 Apply Processing...
