3005088888-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Marriott is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Finance & Accounting to support financial leadership at our hotel and resort properties. This role oversees daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly close. You will prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring compliance with Marriott policies, US GAAP, and internal controls. Partner closely with operations leaders to drive profitability, optimize cost controls, and support capital planning. You will mentor a small team, support audits, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily hotel finance and accounting operations Manage general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and monthly close Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budgets Ensure compliance with Marriott policies, US GAAP, and internal controls Partner with operations leaders to improve profitability and cost controls Support annual budgeting and long-term financial planning Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve findings Develop, coach, and supervise accounting staff Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial risk indicators Identify and implement process and system improvements Required Skills Financial reporting General ledger accounting Budgeting and forecasting US GAAP compliance Financial analysis Internal controls and audit support Accounts payable and receivable management Excel and financial systems (ERP) Team leadership and staff supervision Cost control and profitability analysis
