Job Description

Truck Country is looking for an Assistant Controller to join our corporate accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys leading a team, improving processes, and partnering with operations to drive financial success. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team Manage daily accounting operations and month-end close Prepare financial statements, budgets, and shareholder reports Ensure compliance with GAAP and accounting best practices Review fixed assets, sales tax filings, and inventory reconciliations Support payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and dealership accounting teams Help improve accounting systems, processes, and technology Oversee company fuel card program and manager bonus calculations What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles Leadership experience with a passion for developing others Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent communication, organization, and analytical abilities Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Why Truck Country?
