Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Finance Director/Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales and financing operations with enthusiasm and expertise. This pivotal role combines financial leadership with sales management, driving revenue growth while ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive financing, customer relationship management, and sales negotiation, all while fostering a positive customer experience. Duties Lead and oversee the dealership's finance department, ensuring seamless loan processing, credit analysis, and transaction structuring to maximize profitability. Develop and implement effective sales strategies focused on upselling automotive financing and insurance products to enhance customer value. Manage customer relationships by providing expert guidance on loan options, compliance with loan regulations such as TILA (Truth in Lending Act), and title processing procedures. Collaborate with the sales team to drive automotive sales through effective negotiation, client communication, and contract management. Ensure adherence to all automotive industry regulations, including dealership-specific rules and financial services compliance standards. Utilize financial software systems like CDK to streamline loan approval workflows, credit checks, and documentation processes. Conduct regular training sessions on industry knowledge of financial regulations, loan officer best practices, and compliance requirements. Monitor and analyze dealership financial performance metrics; prepare reports that inform strategic decision-making. Maintain accurate records of all transactions, including deal structuring, credit analysis documentation, and regulatory compliance logs. Foster a customer-centric environment by providing excellent service throughout the sales cycle—from initial inquiry to final financing approval. Qualifications Proven experience in automotive sales management combined with a strong background in financial services or dealership finance departments. Loan officer experience is highly desirable, with knowledge of transaction structuring, credit analysis, and loan processing procedures. Familiarity with automotive financing products, insurance offerings, and dealership industry regulations such as TILA and title processing laws. Strong negotiation skills paired with excellent client communication abilities to build trust and close deals effectively. Proficiency in financial software systems like CDK or similar platforms used for transaction management. Basic math skills including 10-key typing proficiency for accurate data entry and calculations related to credit analysis and deal structuring. Deep understanding of automotive industry regulations concerning sales practices, financial compliance, and legal documentation requirements. Ability to interpret complex contracts while ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws governing auto loans and dealership operations. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records of all transactions and regulatory documentation. $130,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
