Position Summary Franz Witte is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the company's accounting and financial functions, including reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and analysis. This role works closely with ownership and leadership to provide the financial insights needed to drive sound business decisions. This is a full-time, on-site position in Nampa, Idaho. What You'll Do Responsible for all financial accounting systems, workflows, and related processes. Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial statements, rolling budget forecasts, and key management reports. Partner with the ownership and leadership teams to develop annual budgets. Interpret data trends and provide insights and recommendations necessary to achieve established financial goals. Lead and manage the monthly and annual accounting closing. Evaluate and maintain effective internal controls which protect company assets and support reliable reporting. Ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal financial, payroll, tax, and reporting requirements. Lead, train and mentor the accounting and administrative team members. Coordinate with external corporate tax, banking, insurance, and other professional partners. All other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Minimum of five to seven years of progressively responsible accounting or financial management experience, with direct experience in the key responsibilities outlined above. Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and job-cost accounting principles is required. Experience implementing, maintaining, and improving accounting software and financial-reporting systems. Knowledge of payroll processing and related monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into practical recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees and leaders at all levels. Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a plus. Experience in managing team members, balancing competing priorities, meeting deadlines, and maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. CPA, CMA or MBA credentials are welcome but not required with relevant experience. Construction or other job-cost accounting experience preferred but not required.
