Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities Lead and manage the overall accounting function, including AP, AR, financial reporting, tax, and month-end close. Oversee the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Ensure the timely completion of the month-end and year-end close processes. Establish and maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies to safeguard company assets. Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial statement accuracy. Manage external audit processes and serve as the primary liaison with auditors. Partner with finance leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies. Develop, mentor, and lead the accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support executive leadership with financial reporting, analysis, and strategic insights. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. 8+ years of progressive accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements. Experience managing audits and tax compliance processes. Advanced proficiency with ERP/accounting systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional leadership and team development skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to translate financial data for non-financial stakeholders. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work.
