Controller Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of our growing packaging company. This role will oversee all financial reporting, internal controls, cost accounting, and compliance functions, while partnering with leadership to drive profitability and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing or packaging industry experience and a hands-on leadership style.

Controller:
Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and tax compliance Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial statements Maintain accurate inventory valuation and lead standard cost development and variance analysis Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and corporate policies Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses for operational performance Partner with operations and plant management to support cost control and margin improvement Lead audits and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability Support capital expenditure analysis and business case development for equipment or facility investments Qualifications for the
Controller:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred) 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller or similar leadership role Experience in the packaging, manufacturing, or industrial goods industry Strong knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting, and inventory management Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills #ZRCFS #
