Controller Salary:
$120,000 – $140,000 +

Key Responsibilities for the
Controller:
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, inventory costing, payroll coordination, and month-end close.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, account reconciliations, and budget-to-actual variances.
  • Lead annual budgeting and ongoing forecasting processes.
  • Manage inventory accounting, job profitability reporting, and sales reconciliations.
  • Evaluate capital expenditures and analyze return on investment.
  • Coach, develop, and lead the accounting team while maintaining strong internal controls.
Qualifications for the
Controller:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience with 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliations.
  • Manufacturing, inventory accounting, and job costing experience strongly preferred; CPA is a plus.
