Global manufacturing company seeks a motivated and Controller who will be responsible for leading the Accounting team and ensuring the accuracy of all financial information for the business. Applicants should have large manufacturing / industrial company experience involving previous Cost Accounting experience and supervisory experience. The Controller is expected to work hands-on, in the details, not just perform management and delegation duties.

Pay:

$100K - $130K, depending on experience, plus 15% target bonus

Location:

In-Office 5 days per week in Peoria, IL area

Responsibilities:

Prepare, review and finalize monthly financial statements and present to leadership Support external and internal audits, as well as balance sheet reviews Ensure compliance with SOX and US GAAP Ensure financial integrity at all times in all reporting systems Lead yearly inventory costing and count accuracy Support treasury function with cash flow forecasting Train, coach, and manage performance for company's Accounting team Provides financial reports and metrics analyses to the leadership team Manage successful implementation of a new ERP system across all business sites

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred) CPA license strongly preferred Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future 7 - 15 years of progressive Accounting experience 3+ years of previous Cost Accounting experience 3+ years of previous supervisory experience leading Accounting functions or an entire Accounting team Highly organized and detail-oriented Working knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains / GP, SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, etc.)
