Finance Director A high-performing automotive organization is seeking an experienced, driven, and ethical Finance Director to lead and grow its Finance & Insurance department. Responsibilities Lead all aspects of the Finance & Insurance department, ensuring profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction goals are achieved. Oversee the vehicle financing process from lender approval through funding and contract completion. Ensure all federal, state, and lender documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop Finance Managers to maximize performance and career growth. Monitor department performance through key metrics, including product penetration, reserve income, customer satisfaction (CSI), and overall profitability. Present finance, protection, and ancillary product offerings in a professional and customer-focused manner. Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance requirements. Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to create a seamless customer experience. Develop and execute strategies to improve finance performance, product sales, and operational efficiency. Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years of successful automotive F&I experience required. Previous Finance Director or senior F&I leadership experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in achieving finance profitability and product penetration goals. Strong knowledge of automotive lending, compliance, and dealership finance operations. Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding service. Professional demeanor and high ethical standards.
