Job Description Summary This position will have responsibility to drive fiscal accountability and transparency at Eagle's manufacturing facility. This includes but is not limited to: working with the operations and warehousing teams to build financial models that reflect the should and actual state of the operation and help identify improvement opportunities, assisting financial improvement projects at the plant when requested, assisting the annual loss analysis and budgeting process at the plant, performing financial modelling to validate plant improvement projects and company initiatives, and assisting the monthly and yearly closing activities. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Responsible for maintaining BOMs, variance analysis, and consolidated reporting Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required Managing month end close of the general ledger Collaborate in cross-functional capacity to meet business needs Assist in development of annual operating plan and interim forecasts Must be able to effectively express ideas and thoughts verbally and in written form in a professional manner including grammar, punctuation, detail oriented and spelling Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Demonstrated problem solving, time management and priority setting skills Develop financial models to assess plant operations and identify loss recovery opportunities & continuous improvement strategies Provide financial analysis for management initiatives and plant savings projects Analyze production costs and communicate results to the production managers Keep track of labor cost, utilities cost, variable costs and fixed costs in order to compare budget and forecast vs. actual data Assist the production manager with bill of material changes or labor efficiency changes Use company tools to analyze industrial variances Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices as stated within the policy Follow all Safety rules & procedures by working safely and ensuring safety of others Follow all food safety procedures Follow all environmental protocols as applicable Follow all sanitation procedures and work instructions Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned Eagle Foods will provide reasonable accommodations to allow an employee to perform the essential functions of the job.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred but not required Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Office Highly motivated, self-directed, innovative and able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulnessAdapts and thrives in a demanding fast-paced environment Superior communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), with the ability to build relationships at all levels, both internally and externally Possesses a high level of critical thinking and attention to detail and accuracy Positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset Operates with a high level of professionalism and integrity, including dealing with confidential information Strong prioritization and time management skills Experienced in using ERP systems Comfort working in a manufacturing/plant floor environment.Salary Expectations:
