Kelly is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage accounting, fixed assets, AR/AP, and tax compliance for a multinational company in Willowbrook, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity with fully paid medical benefits .

ACCOUNTABILITIES 1
) Treasury Management Oversee financial resources for the US & Canada, ensuring robust cash flow management in alignment with the Regional Treasury team. Lead receivables management, including reduction of payment terms, overdue accounts, and bad debts, through active engagement with the credit and collection committee. Support credit assessments to establish appropriate credit limits for customers. Manage trade payables, and coordinate with the AME Treasury Manager to optimize working capital metrics (DSO, DPO, DIO). 2) Controlling & Reporting Support the budgeting process by aligning with strategic priorities, ensuring timely and accurate budget submission. Identify and analyze variances between budget and actuals, recommending and implementing corrective/preventive actions for improved financial performance. Drive process excellence and risk mitigation via KPI monitoring and by implementing best financial practices. 3) Accounting & Taxes Manage accounting processes in compliance with local and IFRS standards. Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements and disclosure notes. Ensure comprehensive tax planning, calculation, and compliance for all local and federal tax obligations. Coordinate internal and external audit activities, addressing findings and ensuring corrective actions. Serve as SAP Key User to facilitate system support and continuous improvement initiatives for finance functions. 4) Governance and Risks Enforce compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and corporate finance policies, including LOA and FCF. Contribute to internal controls and risk management, closing control gaps and ensuring implementation of recommendations. Maintain robust documentation and processes to safeguard corporate governance within the region.

Additional tasks may be assigned as required. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Administration, Accounting, or Economics. 8-10 years' experience in finance roles. Advanced proficiency in English, MS Office (including Power BI), and
SAP FI-CO.
Broad understanding of financial, accounting, treasury, and tax management. Desirable Requirements Postgraduate and/or Master's degree in a related field. Over 10 years' experience in finance. Working knowledge of Spanish. Experience as an SAP Key User and/or involvement in SAP implementation.
