Role Description We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented on-site Controller to lead our accounting and financial reporting functions. This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong technical accounting expertise with sound business judgment and a hands-on approach. The Controller will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and provide financial insight that helps leadership make informed decisions. In addition, cost accounting and oversight of our IT function would be a bonus. What You will Do Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations Manage the monthly and annual close process Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies Oversee cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning in partnership with leadership Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial partners Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting Develop and monitor meaningful financial KPIs Responsible for the risk management aspects including collections, and insurance both property and employee benefits What We Are Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience , including experience in a Controller or senior accounting role Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience managing the month-end close and preparing financial statements Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Experience with accounting/ERP systems and advanced Excel skills, NetSuite experience a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and non-finance leaders High integrity, discretion, and sound business judgment
