Key Responsibilities for the
Controller:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a 4-person accounting team.
  • Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
  • Manage job costing, WIP reporting, and project profitability analysis.
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
  • Maintain internal controls, compliance, and accounting best practices.
  • Support accounting system enhancements and the transition to QuickBooks Online.
Qualifications for the
Controller:
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Construction or manufacturing industry experience required.
  • Experience with job costing, WIP reporting, and project-based accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • QuickBooks experience preferred.
  • Leadership experience is a plus; high-potential candidates ready for management will be considered.
