Job Description

We are looking for a strategic finance leader to oversee financial planning and performance analysis for manufacturing operations in Lenexa/Shawnee area. This position works closely with plant and operations leaders to strengthen visibility into costs, margins, and capital investments while supporting sound business decisions. The role is well suited for someone who combines strong manufacturing finance knowledge with a hands-on approach to reporting, forecasting, and operational partnership. Responsibilities:
  • Direct budgeting, forecasting, and financial review activities for manufacturing operations, ensuring timely insight into business performance.
  • Collaborate with plant leadership to evaluate spending patterns, operational drivers, and opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage standard cost processes and provide analysis related to production absorption, inventory valuation, and manufacturing cost trends.
  • Assess financial aspects of capital projects and support investment planning through clear modeling and performance analysis.
  • Prepare and present recurring financial reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual review by finance and operations stakeholders.
  • Work closely with accounting and reporting teams to align plant-level financial results with broader company reporting requirements.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to manufacturing finance processes, reporting methods, and forecasting accuracy.
  • Track key performance indicators across the manufacturing environment and translate operational data into actionable financial insight
