Candidates need a strong accounting background, either a CPA license or extensive experience preparing journal entries and financial statements, analyzing and explaining budget to actual variances, reconciling intercompany and other type transactions, and assisting the Finance Officer with budgeting, the financial audit and other special projects, as needed. Candidates must be willing to occasionally travel within the Diocese and feel comfortable presenting to a group. The position requires an independent and proactive work ethic with strong interpersonal skills. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Word, Excel and Quick Books. Candidates should be able to multi-task, and be organized, prompt, dependable and trustworthy with confidential matters.
