Responsibilities Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into business performance. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards. Oversee internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud. Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure timely completion of audit processes. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions. Collaborate with management to develop financial forecasts and strategic plans aligned with business goals. Stay informed about industry trends affecting retail power sports businesses to advise on financial implications. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred. Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior finance role within retail or similar industries. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a finance team effectively. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with industry-specific tools is a plus. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
