Ovadia Heart Health/IFixHearts is a growing mission-driven healthcare organization focused on preventing heart disease through root-cause medicine, patient education, and innovative care delivery.

We are seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Controller ready to operate at a senior strategic level.

This is not a maintain the status quo role.

We are looking for someone who understands both strategy and execution. Someone who can move comfortably between high-level financial planning and rolling their sleeves up to solve operational and financial issues in real time.

What Youll Be Responsible ForFinancial projection and cash flow managementBudgeting and financial planningFinancial and ROI analysisKPI development and reportingRevenue and expense analysisOperational finance supportOversight of accounting processes and controlsWorking closely with leadership on strategic decision-makingImproving financial visibility, accountability, and reporting cadenceHelping support sustainable growth and operational efficiencyOverseeing and executing on the entire accounting function from bookkeeping, A/P, A/R, payroll, reporting.

The Ideal CandidateStrong financial and operational acumenExperience in healthcare, direct-pay healthcare, subscription/membership models, or entrepreneurial businesses preferredComfortable in a fast-moving, founder-led environmentCalm under pressure and solution-orientedAble to balance strategic thinking with tactical executionStrong communicator who can work cross-functionally with operations, sales, marketing, and leadership teamsHas experience with multi-entity and intercompany accounting experience including consolidations, eliminations, and intercompany transactions across all entities. Knowledgable on multi-state payroll and compliance.

No ego, no bureaucracy mindsetAble to manage all aspects of the accounting cycleQualificationsCPA preferred but not requiredPrior Controller or CFO experience requiredStrong understanding of financial reporting, forecasting, and operational financeExperience with remote teams and modern cloud-based systemsAble to complete all necessary bookkeeping functionsHealthcare industry experience strongly preferredExperience in a small/start-up business environment Experience with Quickbooks Online, Fathom, and Gusto are a plus.
