Role:

A boutique Real Estate Investment firm in Boston is looking to add a Controller to their team. This individual will oversee their accounting and finance functions for both corporate and deals-related activity. It is a high visibility position that will play a key role in decision making within the organization. Key Responsibilities:

Management of daily financial operations Mentor and develop the accounting and finance teams Financial Modeling for deals-related activity Process Improvement/development of policies and procedures Prepare monthly financial statements Supervise Accounts Payable and Billing Build and maintain relationships with business partners and stakeholders

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 10+ years of Accounting experience (Real Estate industry) Blend of Commercial and Residential Real Estate Excellent communication skills with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally Partnership tax knowledge Advanced Excel experience
