A Controller directs and oversees the treasury of a government, private corporation or non-profit organization, and may oversee the investment of funds. Supervises the quality of accounting and financial reporting within an organization, and directs preparation of reports that show the financial position of an organization.
Assists the Finance Director as a business partner, ensure domestic financial reporting accuracy and balance sheet integrity
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
US GAAP financial reporting: month end close, balance sheet responsibility and reconciliation Manage A/R and A/P personnel, processing and internal controls Inventory valuation, standard costing and variance analysis Prepares journal entries, reports and ad hoc requests Yearend physical inventories and reconciliation Coordinate annual external audits Support budget preparation, forecasts and ad hoc projects and analysis as required
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Strong analytical skills and business judgment to provide general financial support to the business Internal Control design/improvement Inventory/Manufacturing/Cost Accounting Multiple Currency experience Supports Y/E physical inventories and reconciliation
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
CPA in good standing. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education A minimum of 10 years' managerial experience in manufacturing environment Life science/biopharma industry experience a plus Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains a plus Experience with ERP upgrade/implementation

SALARY:
$140,000-$160,000 per year

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including the candidate's work history, experience, skills, and education.
