Controller A client of CFS is currently seeking a Controller to lead their accounting team. Responsibilities of the Controller Own the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Prepare month-end and year-end financial statements. Lead the annual audit and work closely with external auditors. Evaluate current accounting processes and implement improvements where needed. Oversee and mentor a team of 8, including AP/AR Specialists, Staff Accountants, and Senior Accountants. Partner with leadership on financial reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives. Preferred Qualifications of the Controller Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus. Previous leadership or supervisory experience. Strong Excel and ERP system experience. Sage ERP experience is highly preferred. Experience with process improvements or ERP implementations is a plus. #
