• 150,000 + Generous Benefits 401(k) with 3% Match | Generous PTO | Long-Term Growth Opportunity A privately owned commercial real estate investment and development company that has been building and managing properties for over 30 years is seeking a Director of Finance to help shape and lead the finance function for its growing portfolio.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner directly with executive leadership and help build processes, structure, and best practices from the ground up as you help them create a solid real estate division within a scaling multi-entity company. What You'll Own Oversee accounting operations across multiple real estate entities Manage property accounting, property taxes, and insurance activities Lead CAM reconciliations across the portfolio Handle construction accounting for three active developments, including a major mixed-use "live/work/play" project currently underway Develop and manage WIP reporting, lien releases, and asset component tracking processes Build accounting workflows, SOPs, and financial controls for the real estate division Partner closely with the SVP of Asset Management to help establish and scale the finance function Supervise and mentor a team of 2-3 accounting professionals Introduce new ideas, efficiencies, and best practices to strengthen the organization Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting across all entities Utilize Yardi to manage accounting and property-related functions Why This Role Is Unique This is a newly created function within a rapidly growing organization.
